My cat has peed on every couch I’ve owned for the past 5 years which is now a total of 5 couches! The vet said it’s behavioral and I clean his litter box religiously. We just got a new couch (free from someone else) and he peed on it the second night I had it, the day AFTER I rented a rug doctor and deep cleaned it and right BEFORE I was headed to the store for a waterproof couch cover and sheets to make it look nice.... because of him. I came home from work this morning and he had peed on the sheet and waterproof cover! I understand he’s marking his territory but come on! I’ll never be able to have nice things with this cat! He never did this when his dad and I lived together but has been ever since I moved in with my now husband 5 years ago. How do you remove cat urine from upholstery and does it ever smell better? I’m at my wits end here!!!!
