Today at my sons 8 month appointment while we were discussing how far he was from being able to sit and how stiff he was, his pediatrician started to ask some questions and do some test. She looked at me and said, “I want you to see a neurologist, I believe he has cerebral palsy.” I still don’t think I heard her right. He was born 9 weeks early after we both almost died from me having seizures every 20 minutes for 24 hours. ( I have epilepsy) This whole time I’ve been feeling so unbelievably lucky with how

well he has been doing and now to hear this news all I keep thinking is I did this to my baby boy.... His life is going to be so much harder than it ever needed to be and he doesn’t deserve any of it.
