Water at 5 months?

Ok I know usually they recommend not to give water till babies are 6 months and that’s what I did for my other 2 kids. But I’m wondering if it’s “ok” to give them a little water during the day?

My daughter turned 5 months on the 21. She is EBF, never even had a cup or bottle before but yesterday and a few days before that I gave her this with a little water and she really enjoyed it. 
Are you giving your baby water? If so, how much?

I give my formula fed baby A couple of sips a day no more the 2oz in24 hrs I was told

I gave my boy water at 5 months, but only 2oz a day. That’s what I was told.

I only did when she was constipated but I got her a tiny little cup to start practicing drinking from an open cup. Only like an oz at a time. I’m sure most will end up on the floor 😂

I’ve given my daughter water twice. She’s 
 5 1/2 months. But she only drank maybe an ounce both times.

My daughter drinks 3-4 oz of water a day. Our pediatrician recommended because she’s had problems pooping . Also have the green light for prune juice if water wasn’t helping. We’ve been on solids since 3.5 months so she’s eating and drinking a lot now
