SCH but not bleeding. Is this worse not to bleed out?

It is best not to bleed and to let your body reabsorb it, or at least, that’s what my OB told me. My SCH was considered “large” so if it ruptured (if I had bleeding) that meant it could cause my placenta to detach from my uterine wall and the baby’s heart to stop. Thankfully, my placenta was on the opposite side of the SCH, but I was still placed on bed rest and pelvic rest for several weeks.
At 8 weeks, I had such severe bleeding, I assumed I lost our baby. At 11 weeks I had an ultrasound scheduled to make sure I didn’t need a D&C since my period didn’t start back up again, only to find out I was still pregnant and that the bleeding was from a SCH, which is when I was placed on bedrest/pelvic rest. At 14 weeks I had some pretty bad bleeding because I had picked up our 35lb son several times throughout the day, causing a small rupture. Thankfully, everything was ok. At my anatomy scan at 22 weeks, the SCH was completely gone.
Drink plenty of water. As much as you can. Limit any excessive bending, twisting, lifting, pushing and pulling. Meaning laundry and dishes can wait! Have a friend or family member help you if they can! Good luck Mama!
