I will honestly never understand why people get mad at the gender of their baby.

Like a “friend” of mine is pregnant like a month or so behind me she found out she’s having a boy, and SHES MAD!?!?! Like why you said you’ve had many miscarriages why wouldn’t you just be happy to be pregnant. I understand wanting a gender but being upset about the one you get baffles me.

Edit: for those who think this is just gender disappointment it is not. It’s so much further than that. I had gender disappointment 2 times. I now have two sons. Honestly I’m still a little sad while other people are more excited for me. But I know I’m lucky to have a healthy pregnancy because I know not everyone can. This is beyond that into borderline unappreciated attitudes about the pregnancy in a whole.
