(Long read, sorry in advance!)

So me and my boyfriend have been trying these past few months to get me pregnant. We haven’t touched a condom in over a month.

Today marked 12 days of being late on my period. My last menstrual period was on May 18th. My periods are usually irregular, however these past few months I’ve been consistently getting them in the middle of the month; anywhere from the 10th all the way up to the 20th–at most. In the past I’ve gone a whole month of not getting my period several times, but it was due to lots of stress. (I wasn’t sexually active, either.)

A NYWAY, today (now the 28th) it could’ve been the 13th day of a late period, BUT here’s the kicker: earlier around 2pm I noticed bleeding. Not a lot and not too much. My boyfriend and I were quite disappointed about it because of how hopeful we were. Around 11ish pm I noticed I’m not bleeding that much anymore. When I wipe, the blood is of a lighter color–I can’t say if it’s a light red or a mixture of a reddish/pinkish. When I put my phone flashlight on it, it’s of a light brown. I really don’t know. My eyes are playing tricks on me I suppose. Also I noticed with the fresh pad that I put on that I’m currently spotting. A couple of faint spots around the pad with that same color I mentioned earlier. So far there haven’t been any clots, either.

Am I possibly pregnant whilst having some implantation bleeding, or is my period playing tricks on me? 🤔😭

PS - On Monday, I took a Clear Blue pregnancy test, as I couldn’t wait any longer in hopes of getting a positive test; but it was in-fact negative.

PSS - Currently having mild cramping and back pain.

Any feedback will definitely help me out as I’m a newbie at this, so I don’t know much about the signs! Thanks in advance!
