Bumbo seat?

Does anyone have one and has anyone put their babies in yet? I’m thinking of getting one and my son will be 4 months on the 16thjuly

My baby will be 4 months on July 16th too! I have a chair like the one Charlene posted a pic of and she loves it! We have a bumbo but haven’t used it yet.

We have two. They do pretty well in them but don't quite like them yet since they need full head control. It will be nice for feeding in a few weeks probably. Mine are 4 mos

My daughter has this and she loves it!! She has a bumbo seat as well but doesn’t care for it as much.

Happened to ask our pediatrician when we were thinking bumbo or sit me up.  And she actually felt strongly against the bumbo. Developmentally, she said she prefers babies in chairs (or devices) where they can move move freely rather than being locked into one position. We went with sit me up and our son likes it quite a lot.  In fact the toy bar that came in the tray is actually is very favorite toy at the moment. 
Of course you do what’s best for your family and no judgement on anyone one way or another.

We have the sit me up floor seat. I have only tried a couple times for only a few minutes because she didn’t have to best head control. She just started physical therapy yesterday for her neck, because she doesn’t seem to turn her head much to the right side. And the physical therapist said to not use them unless you absolutely have to so you can get dishes or a shower out of the way or something.

We have the summer infant wild safari seat (from target) it was about $45 but this toy/food tray is removable and it has a baby seat that you can remove to turn it into a toddler seat and he likes to grab at the toys. Currently 14 weeks old.

We where told that the bumbo seats are horrible for babies because it forces them to sit up when their not ready, I’m so glad we never got one an we got the sit me up chair by fisher price an our daughter loves it. she also said sit me up chairs are better for them because they can still move around in it vs being kinda stuck in one spot
