my daughter is in the NICU and the whole experience, that is already extremely tough, has been even harder bc i feel like i’m being micromanaged. there’s only one nurse i like and even she has been kinda control-ly. it’s super frustrating to feel like your child is in a jail and having to ask permission to see her. (believe me i understand the rules) but it’s just really hard to handle. being told you can’t come in at certain times, or feeling like you have to tip toe around to care for your child. i just want my baby home and to be able to take care of her the way my instincts are telling me to care for her. has anyone else had this kind of experience in their NICU?
