What is proper grammar for last names? Ex. The Mondays

I want to order a sign for our wedding with our new last name and can’t remember what the proper grammar is. Help?

No apostrophe unless you are showing ownership. To make Monday plural, just add an “S”, no apostrophe. So the sign should be The Mondays. However, if you wanted to say something like “Welcome to the Monday’s Wedding” an apostrophe would be appropriate.
