Depends what you mean by "work".
Its not like you can just randomly buy any stock and expect to make money.  You have to have some understanding of what you're doing AND have a good investment broker.... but, yeah, our retirement account is built on stock market investments and it generally grows..

Yes I do, you need to do a LOT of research & learn trends.

We have money in a money market account. That seems to be working out for us. We get good interest at the moment but I don't know where our financial advisor put the money in.
