Forget-me-not bloomed!

My husband and I planted ten forget-me-nots in the garden this spring (we just liked the blue colour and needed something that did well in shade and damp soil), only to realize later that they probably won’t bloom this year. I was sure they wouldn’t. One week ago we suffered our loss as a result of ectopic pregnancy (while subsequently dealing with other fertility issues, too). It was our first pregnancy. This has been the most difficult experience I’ve ever had, filled with sadness, fear, anger, guilt, physical pain, and I am really struggling to find answers. But today I noticed tiny blooms on one of the plants! So I have decided to take it as a sign from our little angel 🌸 💔
