What to do before a wax

I'm getting my first wax in a couple of days to get ready for going on holiday but I'm not sure what to do before to prepare for it. Anyone got any advice??

A pain reliever an hour before you go and no caffeine/alcohol

Your hair needs to be as long as a grain of rice. Nothing really to do for preparation other than to exfoliate a few days up until if you dont daily.
