But honestly I don’t know if I’d let my kids get it at all... I know some kids within my family that have gotten in huge trouble using Snapchat and instagram. Like girls sending them nudes and then the police getting involved and some of their friends getting charged. (They’re 15...) 
It’s scary nowadays and I’m glad I didn’t have Snapchat when I was growing up that’s for sure.

but i would get them a phone around 8-10 for emergencies to contact me if needed.
