How long?

I’ve recently upped my insulin dose again (this is the third time) because my fasting numbers just won’t budge. Has anyone else experienced this, and how long did it take for you to find a dose that worked? I’m worrying myself sick because my numbers are well above 90 every single morning. I just wish I knew what was causing my numbers to stay so high and not respond to the insulin 😞

I’ve been doing 20units for almost a week and seems to be working well. I noticed that my number is better depending on what I eat the previous day also. And sleep definitely affects it as well.

I would update my dose, it would be good for 3-7 days and then I needed to change it again. Right until I delivered. GD is progressive so you generally need to keep tweaking the dose

My numbers have been between 92 and 98 all week. I am at 30 units currently. I am sure its partially that I am not sleeping well and stressing majorly. I suggest a walk after dinner and a light snack before your insulin. Nothing sweet. Peanut butter on wheat toast maybe?
