NIPT Blood test to find out gender?

Did anyone do the blood test where they find out if your baby has Down syndrome and also finds out the gender of your baby through blood test as early as 7 weeks? I’m currently 11 weeks and I go back next week to do that but kinda iffy about it never heard of finding out through blood test to find out sex of baby has anyone done it? Is is accurate????

I had it done with this baby and ultrasound confirmed a boy

We did it at 13w and had results within a week. Came back with no chromosome abnormalities. We also found out it’s a boy. Was confirmed a boy at the anatomy scan.

I habe done it with all 3 of my pregnancies. I foumd out somwtime thus week or beginning of next week with this pregnancy. (4th one)

It detects ALL of your baby's chromosomes (not just the one for Downs, there are a lot of possible chromosomal abnormalities) and of course one set of chromosomes is the xx or xy of gender. It's 99% accurate, more than ultrasound. It isn't always covered by insurance and can be expensive, so check on that. I wouldn't pay out of pocket just to find out the gender. But I think it's an important test.

I found out gender first through ultra sound. I did the blood testing a little later and it confirmed gender

I just had blood drawn for it. Haven’t got results back yet. But my doctor says they can’t do it until 10 weeks. 7 seems way to early; not enough fetal DNA.
