Switching to sensitive formula?

Anyone have any experience switching from regular formula to sensitive stuff? My baby girl as on Similac Pro Advance and now she is on Similac Pro Sensitive and I’m curious how it has worked for others. First two feeds went well and she didn’t spit up at all when normally she spits up quite a bit.

We made the exact same switch last week because my baby wouldn’t stop randomly vomiting entire bottles. So far he hasn’t vomited at all, he’s been spitting up less, and he’s been less gassy (he was never bothered by that but I’ve noticed a lot less farting lol). I hope it keeps working. The vomiting is exhausting. Sucks that the Similac Pro-Sensitive doesn’t come in travel sticks though.

I had to switch my son to nutramigen for possible lactose intolerance. My doc told me when switching formula it takes 2 weeks to determine if it is working or not. However as soon as we switched him, his poops changed and his gassiness dissipated almost instantly. However now that we are further along (been on it for almost 5 weeks) his spitting up has increased greatly so I'm still not sure if this is the right formula for him or not. My point is, give it two weeks before you decide if it's working or not, and know that formula fed babies should have "solid" (mushy) poops. Before switching, my baby's poop was forrest green and liquid, and that was all the info my doc needed to decide he was not tolerating the formula he was on. Hope this helps!

This was my exact situation. Baby girl almost never spits up but her doctor also added Zantac so that might be the rrason snd not necessarily the formula switch.

Nothing works on my guy for spitting up. Same thing with my daughter as well. Until they were on table food spitting up stopped

Mine didn’t do well in that kind at all. His seem to be better then just got worse and had liquidity poops. I had to change him to Enfamil gentlease
