what do you think of the 2 names hubby and i have picked for our 1st due January 22 2020.

Question

So hubby and i still do not know the gender of our little one but have come up with 2 names that we love. 1 for a boy the other a girl.
Boys name... Alucard Forest..... forest ist my grandpa name.
Girls name... Makoto Rose..... Rose was my mother middle name. 
just wanted to see what others think of our choices

Are the first names from a specific culture? If you are in the US people are going to struggle with pronunciation of both.

To me makoto sounds like a male name. And I would have trouble pronouncing the boy name.

I think they will get made fun of in school for those names.

I wouldn’t personally go with Alucard since it’s technically Dracula spelled backwards and is the name of a fictional vampire character. If a smart kid figures that out, then he would likely end up being called Dracula instead. 
As well, I would associate Makoto as a masculine name.

I mean.... they are YOURS to name. But, honestly those first names are not cute at all. Middle names are cute! 😬
