Nursery/house under construction

I'm having a hard time not feeling overwhelmed and I was wondering if anyone had any advice at all or reassurance if they have been through the same thing.

Currently I am 25, almost 26 weeks, and due in october. My husband and I moved into a house about a year ago now that we knew we were going to have to work on. The thing is is that we figured we would have most of it done by now, and it's not. We still have a lot to do. One of the main projects being upstairs where all the bedrooms are and what the nursery will be. We are current on hold because we need a wall fixed before we can finish painting and getting carpet down, but it is getting closer and closer to my due date and I'm worried we will not get it done in time like I had wanted.

Has anyone else been in the same situation where the nursery was not completely done but still livable in? The biggest thing is not getting the carpet down in time, everything else is done (walls fixed, and painted).
