Company issue or parent issue?!?

Bailey

I’ve been thinking about purchasing from a smaller business I’ve seen being advertised on my Facebook page. They do not have a website so you are only able to purchase from the Facebook link it pulls up. I looked the company up on google and found a review page I wanted to read before deciding to purchase any products. This one complaint caught my eye and I wanted to hear others opinions about the issue. Basically a child used her fathers card to purchase merchandise from their business without their parents knowledge. The mom was obviously pissed off because the item her daughter purchased was monogrammed and the business has a policy of no refunds for personalized items. She also claimed that they didn’t check credit card information while processing orders. A response was posted saying that they do in fact check credit card information and match it to the buyer by address and last name. I personally agree with the company. I am 17 and use my dads card all the time to place orders online, with his permission of course and giving him the cash, and I put my name on the receipt and all other information. I think this is more of a parenting issue because I would NEVER use my dads card without permission. Also their policy is no refunds or exchanged on personalized items, so I don’t understand why the mom feels like she has the right to get mad at the company for her child’s disrespectful behavior.
