Do you wash the top of your beverage can before you drink out of it? (Soda,beer,any other drink that comes in a can)

My grandma always taught me to wash the top of a beverage can before you drink out of it. That is was in factory, and then boxed, then traveled through trucks, in the hands of many people before sitting on a shelf for however long, and who knows what has come in contact with it. It’s not clean. So if you are going to drink out of a can to wash the top first. I always do but I don’t know anyone else who does lol. So do you wash the top of the can before drinking out of it?
