Getting a 15 month old off pacifier?

Question

He only uses it at nap and bedtime to fall asleep initially. I don’t let him have it through out the day. I feel so mean taking away the comforting thing that makes him fall asleep. Wah parenting 😢 Any advice?

Mine only used it for sleep too so I didn't really care.  Won't hurt the teeth at this point.  We ditched them just before two but only because he was biting through them.  Two days of a rough time falling asleep, but then he was fine.

Of them. My dentist said though as long as she isn’t using it with adult teeth he doesn’t care

We put my sons in a box and “mailed” them to the babies that needed them. Then when he asked for one we just told him that he’s a big boy and that he didn’t need them anymore.. it seemed to work. Night time was the worst but we got through it. After about a week he didn’t ask anymore 👍🏼 good luck momma
