Please help ?

So I went to the doctors to I’m 16 weeks and my doctor told me not to have sex , he said my placenta is still low and he don’t want me to bleed bc the increased blood vessels or something didn’t really understand, he said just for now not to have sex or lift anything heavy ! Has anyone ever had this happen ??

Ok I’m hoping nothing bad happens doctor said it would move up bc the baby just recently moved out of pelvis

I had a low lying placenta with my last pregnancy but it wasn't complete previa and I didn't have any bleeding. I was not on any precautions. The placenta moved far enough away from my cervix sometime in the third trimester and I had an uncomplicated vaginal delivery.

My sister went through this with her pregnancy she was on bed rest almost her whole entire  pregnancy and was not allowed to touch anything that was heavy.
