Corset?

First time mom here! Does anyone plan to wear any sort of corset or stomach band to put everything back to where it should be once baby is delivered? 🤣 found a few on Amazon and open to recommendations

This is the one I got. It is 3 separate pieces and it tells you when to wear what and for how many weeks! It was one of the top recommended ones on a couple websites.

Like a postpartum girdle? I plan on getting one of those to help everything go back to normal. But not a corset.

Do your research on them because there are mixed reviews about them. I have heard that corsets it's self aren't good to use because they rearrange your organs but I have also heard that they are okay as long as you don't wear them all the time!! Me personally I wont use any. I also feel like belly bands could be better then actual corsets!!

I didn’t need to. Everything just went back with breastfeeding and going back to my normal activity.

I used with my daughter. I only removed to sleep and shower. It was the best thing I did. I am planning on using it again.

A postpartum girdle? They’re actually pretty good. 
I had the one for C-sections, and I really helped support me and aid in my C-section recovery

Corset no. A waist trainer I got before I found out I was pregnant, yes.

A corset, no. Wore them for sexy times and other events. No way do I want something pushing my organs around more with hard support. Girdle, yes. Big big difference in those two. I used a girdle after my first when my grandmother told me about it. Made a big difference with supporting my skin that was stretched and my abdominal muscles healed much better than when I forgot and got lazy with my second.
Girdles are very helpful in just supporting and holding in place without mashing on your organs. A corset constricts you and can cause pain and organs to sit improperly when healing. I wore my girdle anytime I was up and around after my first exp if I would be standing a long time. I could really tell a difference if I wasn't wearing it vs wearing it standing.

Nope. Second pregnancy, I’m just letting nature do its thing. At least in my experience that was the LAST thing I was concerned about postpartum.

Not a corset or a waist trainer, no. BUT I will be using a postpartum support belt. After lots of research, these seem to be the safest/best option. There’s a difference in those 3 options so just really look into what you’re getting.
