Tubal ligation and weight issues

Hi ladies...I had my tubes tied 3 years ago and I can't seem to loose weight, no matter how hard I try. Well actually, if I starve myself, I loose weight but I know that's not the healthy way. Has anyone been able to loose weight after getting tubes tied, what did you do? Help! I need to loose weight and be healthy so I can go through IVF to have another baby. (I regret my choice but that's another story)
