Anyone dealing with preeclampsia after birth? What is your experience?

I got it afterwards and it was scary!! Two night hospital stay, 24 hours on magnesium. BP meds. We’re home now and feel so much better! Hope you feel better ASAP!

Yes I'm asymptomatic though so I've been going to the ob for blood pressure checks weekly and on medication.

I had it during pregnancy and after for about 10 days.

Silly question: is this a lifelong thing or does it go away? Obviously preeclampsia during pregnancy is temporary but what about postpartum preeclampsia?

Was diagnosed with it after giving birth. 5 days at the hospital, 24hr on magnesium drip.
