Short Period post MC

I had a miscarriage at the end of May. Ultrasound showed a slow growing fetus at my 8 week appt and at 10 weeks there was an empty sac. D&C the next day. Now, 5 weeks later (almost to the day) I got my period. It felt normal and day 1 was kind of normal. Spotting then super heavy. But it was literally only heavy for like one hour. Now day 2 and 3 there is nothing. Not even on a panty liner. Anyone have this happen? Is my body just completely funky? I’d love to get KU again so any and all advice is welcomed.
