This popped up on our lo a week ago. It doesn’t hurt her but it isn’t showing any signs of improvement. It’s on her thumb knuckle.

Maybe eczema or a fungal infection?

No she doesn’t suck on her thumb. We thought at first it was a big bite, but there was never any mark other than the redness which isn’t bright. It’s a dark red mark.

Does she suck on her thumb there? Like while she sleeps? The side of her hand. I believe I did that as a kid. If it’s chapped from that and she keeps doing it at night then it wouldn’t improve.
