Reusable Nursing Pads Recommendations?

Question

I am a FTM and I am looking for recommendations for reusable nursing pads for sensitive skin. I’ve seen some pads but read they can either be irritating for sensitive skin, not as absorbent for overnight flow or can mold from washing after awhile. I also need pad recs for big breasts. Please help!

I preferred the parents choice as well. I expected the more expensive brands to be softer and less irritating to my skin. But the parents choice was the only kind that didn’t stick to my already cracked and bleeding nipples. I never found any of them to be what I needed. But stay away from the Lansinoh pads. They will stick to you and even with the nipples cream it hurts like a bitch!

I have sensitive skin and never had any issues with these, they absorbed a lot, I was a heavy leaker. They never moulded either. I would recommend buying 2 sets though, I leaked a lot and ended up having to wash them every 2 days.

You could make your own. Flannel fabric doubled up. I guess it depends on how sensitive  your skin is. 
I don’t see how they’d mold unless you let them sit soiled or wet for long periods of time.

I got some bamboo ones with a satin backing. They're soft and don't irritate the skin. Can't remember the brand.
But, they aren't good for heavy leaking because they can get soaked through and won't keep you dry.
I used them after I went back to work for daytime use where I might have some leaking throughout the day but not a huge amount.

All of the reusable and disposable pads made me super itchy, I had better luck with nursing bras that had a more thick shell and just rotated and washed them often.

Bamboobies. I have super sensitive skin, and disposable ones made me itchy. For a few weeks the seam of the bamboobies also made me itchy, and I had to just use nothing (but I wasn’t a mega producer, so leaking wasn’t really a problem).
