I’m never going to stop him from seeing her but I feel like I don’t want him in the labour room am I being selfish? We don’t get on so I know it will ruin the experience since it’s my first child.
He’s not bought her one thing, now and then he’ll just ask how is the baby and that’s that

If they were my ex they wouldn't be in there regardless of why. They aren't entitled to see me give birth just because they knocked me up..🤷🏽‍♀️

Dont give him the experience that he doesnt deserve. Have people who will help and love you not sulk in a corner and probably be on their phone the whole time cause they dont give a shit and its awkward.

You need to be as relaxed as possible whilst in labor... you chose who you want there and that’s it! Don’t even tell him when you’re going to hospital

You’re not selfish for that. I wouldn’t do it because he hasn’t been around or bought anything, not for cheating. Two different aspects to me. But you shouldn’t be uncomfortable when giving birth in any way outside of the labor experience.

He may have helped make the baby but he hasn't been helping you along the way, part of creating a child is also supporting the mom. &&& its YOUR body

doesn’t seem like he wants to be involved so why include him?? giving birth is an experience for the both of you as it is his child but if it were me, if the man didn’t want to be involved, i wouldn’t have him in the room. yes he put the child in me and he’s the father but i’m the one who has to carry the baby around for 9 months and actually push it out of me so it’s your decision. i would say no. he doesn’t seem to want to be involved.

He can see the baby after it's born, but absolutely NOT allowed while I'm in labor. Surround yourself with people you love when you're in labor, not assholes
