Hospital medicine mess up

When I gave birth to my daughter almost 6 months ago they gave me shot in my leg to help with bleeding. My doctor told me that the shot they put in my leg was supposed to go in my uterus instead and they irritated the muscle. I'm still have difficulties with even the slightest of touch hurting my thigh, bruising by the slightest of hits on it, and my veins are very obvious in my thigh. None of this happened before the shot, so my question is do you guys know of anything I could do to help the pain in my thigh?

This is what my thigh has looked like since I left the hospital. My other thigh is completely clear as far as being able to see veins.
