Sick or not

So I've been having this dry cough for about a week now. The last time I had this cough I went to the doctors and found out it was chlamydia. I'm scared to go back to the doctors I dont want it to be the same thing. I've only had sex once. I've taken dayquil and advil and the pain has gone away but not the coughing. I've also had a mingrain the made the pain in my neck worse.

On another note today July 4th my day off my cousin invited me out for a family barbecue. But because I have this cough I just feel like saying in and she got all "it like pulling teeth trying to bring you out." I told her last night that I wasnt feeling well and she told her 5 year old daughter that I was coming when I told her I wasnt up for it. "She goes on saying I'll never bother you again"...etc I literally just got back from New York for a family baby shower last week and the week before it was the beach with her. Why cant I just have a day off to myself.
