IS THIS EVEN NORMAL??!!!!

Question

I had my second son on the 7th via emergency csection and so far the recovery has been great. I thought postpartum bleeding was over because it stopped for two days. Then yesterday and today it’s started back up full force bright red when previously it had turned to a pink color. I’ve been having cramps since yesterday morning and a few minutes ago I found this in my pad along with a big clot. Does it look like part of the placenta? I called my grandma to take me to the hospital to get checked out but she’s refusing to take me because she says it’s normal. Is it normal?!

That looks like placenta... I’m not even going to lie I’d go to the ER so they can run an ultrasound to make sure that’s the rest of it. Especially with the cramping

I had something similar after my first but mine was waaay bigger I just assumed it was my body clearing out anything that remained. I didn’t stress.

I had this after my son too, it was nothing, but I was scared it was placenta. Maybe talk to your ob.

I had this, my mom said it’s just like an “un fertilized sac or something. Like mine looked exactly like this, pretty much identical. I was super freaked out but she said she had it a couple of times and is normal :) 😁 don’t stress.
