Any single mamas out there?

Question

Got cheated on, have 2 kids and now I'm a single mom. How do you cope? Did you find love after that? If so, how is it with kids? I assume hard but not impossible.

My mom was a single mom with my two older sisters. With help from her parents and daycare etc. She went to school, got her diploma and got a good job. They lived in an apartment and had a great life. Then  my mom met my dad 5 years after her divorce and he loved my sisters right away. They got married and had myself and my brother. They’ve been happily married for 34 years. True love will find you and even though it’s hard now you won’t regret this part of your life because you got two beautiful babies out of it.

I was single with my first. I moved back to my home country, got myself a new apartment, got my son into a good school, got a good job, new car... it was VERY hard. It took me 4 years to start dating again. I just focused on myself and my kid and my career and let things happen. Don’t force it or cry over it. Its not easy finding someone when you already have kids. Things get complicated and sometimes your kids and new or potential partner won’t get along. You always need to be prepared for that. Your kids go first. Don’t date someone you wouldn’t want around your kids all day

I was a single mom. Met my OH four years ago when my daughter was 2 and now we have our 6mo old. Being a single mom is tough. I was lucky that I had a great support system which allowed me time to go back and get my masters and gave me time to date when I was ready.
