Flat head

Hi. Just looking for a bit of advice from others. My little boy will be 6 months old on Sunday and one side of his head is slightly flatter than the other.

I think it stems from me being able to breast feed better from one side. So I would always feed from the left then express and bottle feed from the right, but again, scooped in my left arm.

He now favours lying on that side, partly I suppose because his head naturally falls that way when he’s sleeping flat.

He has no trouble moving his head the other way, and I always lay him down and encourage him to lay on the other side in an attempt to even it out, but I suppose I’m just wondering if I’m doing the right thing and has anyone else had any experience of this.

From what I’ve read it seems doctors may be unnecessary.

Thanks.
