Any Small SUV recommendations?

As part of our planning, I’m starting to think about getting a new car.  I currently drive a two door which is not family friendly.  I would like a smaller SUV because I don’t think that I would be comfortable driving a bulky vehicle.  So far I’m liking the Mazda CX-5, but I’m not sure that it will be big enough to fit passengers with a car seat in the back along with a stroller, etc.  Anyone have this car and can offer insight?  I’m also liking the Honda CRV and the Subaru Forester.  I just want something safe, practical and affordable.

FORD ESCAPE!!! Believe me!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ It’s like one of the smallest SUV’s that you could get, and they’re affordable if you’re financing (less than $20k) I have a 2017 Ford Escape and owe like $13k on it now! Roomy enough but not massive at ALL!! 😍💝  you wont regret it 💜💖💝 the whole reason I got this car 2 years ago is because I knew I wanted a baby.... and now I’m finally 6w1d with my rainbow 😍🌈 the car insurance for it is pretty cheap too. My sister in law has the crv and likes it and a friend of mine loves her forester. Only thing is they both have two kids now and there’s no room for anyone else ( they love taking their dogs places. I have a GMC Acadia and I love it so so much. And I’m glad I got it because we will have 4 kids to fit lol but for smaller, I think I’d go with a crv! Honda is dependable

I’m leasing the 2019 CRV and I love it. Like you mentioned, they last long and are dependable. Right now I have a 9 year old and 1 year old in the back, and I’m sure I’ll be able to fit our feb baby back there too.

I had the Mazda. I wouldn’t recommend it. No air vents in the back and during the summer the car doesn’t cool down fast enough for a baby (in my opinion). With. Carseat it back only one passenger can fit in back comfortable.

I have a 2009 Dodge Caliber, it's a crossover so not quite an SUV. Its actually pretty compact but it has two perks that I love and have made it seem a little more kid friendly for me.
 #1 the glove compartment has a beverage chiller in it, which is great for bottles.
 #2 on top of there being your normal cigarette lighter chargey plug in thing, there's an actual outlet plug in on the center console which is great whatever. 
I only have two car seats in the back but it could fit a third.

I have a Buick Encore and its a small SUV. Ive loved it and it's been good for one baby but now that we are having a second I will be upgrading to something bigger.

My sister has the CRV and loves it! We bought a Ford Edge and we love that. It’s bigger than the Ford Escape in the backseat and we figured we needed the leg room.
