Toxic shock syndrome?

Ok ladies I used tampons because I think it's cleaner than using maxi pads every time I use a tampon I feel sick headache fever stomach pain and sometimes my vagina feels swollen when I switch to pads at night usually 
no blood flow on the pad but comes out when I pee 
 Are these signs of toxic shock syndrome?

I’m not personally sure but I have a friend who this happens to when she tries to use tampons. She has an extremely sensitive cervix. Maybe call your doctor!!

Stop using them. Your body doesn’t like tampons, use a cup.

Sounds like a possible allergic reaction to tampons, try other brands or a cup. You can’t get tts from a cup.

I don’t think it’s toxic shock syndrome because that’s usually when a tampon has been left in the vagina for too long, especially if the blood flow is low or nonexistent. Like others have said, it could just be an allergic reaction or your body just doesn’t like tampons. Try a different brand, maybe one that’s organic or not scented if you haven’t already tried those. If they don’t work for you still, try a cup. If you’re still having issues maybe see your doctor and see what other options there are if you really don’t want to/can’t just use a pad.
