Babies room too hot?

Robyn

Hi ladies!

We are at our cottage for a week and just arrived this evening. It is quite hot in the room our baby is sleeping in (actually the entire cottage is hot). On our monitor it says the room temperature is 29 degrees Celsius. We are being hit with a heat wave here. I have a couple questions.

1) What do I dress my baby in for bed? A light cotton onesie with his lightweight cotton sleep sack? He usually sleeps in this and loves it.

2) There is a ceiling fan in the room, I think I want to leave it on low to keep the air circulating all night. Is this okay? Or will the fan be bothersome?

3) My LO is 4 months old - are they able to regulate their body temperature now?

I really just don't want to overheat my baby and am worried sick about it. The room is dark with black out blinds to keep it cooler.

I would love your ladies advice!❤

*UPDATE*

My LO slept great, I kept the ceiling fan on all night and kept the room dark with the blackout blinds and windows open. He slept in his usual light cotton onesie and his Halo lightweight sleep sack. When he woke up, he wasn't sweaty at all and very content. Hoping this humidity goes away! Thanks for all your advice ladies!❤
