Caterina Lee, nickname Nina? Is it too far off when she could be going by Rina or Lina? Cause I don’t really like those!

If you really like Lina you could always change Caterina to Catelina so the nickname flows better. Just an idea! (:

You can call your child whatever you want as a nickname.  I work with a guy whose parents call him Eddy. His name is actually Brian and Aaron is his middle name.  But yet his parents call him Ed.
Just as i call my son "Cheeks". Not his name. But he answers to it. Lol.
