Natural remedies

I wanted to post this in the holistic group but it doesn’t look like it has much activity. My daughter is one and she has her first fever :( took her to urgent care because her ped was out today and it’s an ear infection. I’m doing the garlic oil drops in her ears. Skin to skin. I gave her some Little Remedies to help with the fever (which hasn’t reached more than 101). Does anyone have any other natural remedies to try? I’m really trying to stay clear of antibiotics and the acetaminophen as much as possible. But obviously if she really needs it I’ll do it. No I’m not one of those super holistic people who rubs coconut oil on a blistering rash or won’t take the baby in with a 105 fever (since I’m sure I’ll get some rude comments, I had to make that disclaimer) but I do like to take a more natural approach when possible. It’s just hard to put my trust in it and go against the grain sometimes. Any tips are appreciated!!
