Baby hates car rides advice ?

Question

Hey so my 3 month old HATES car rides but living in the suburbs I kind of have to drive to go anywhere. 
I usually give her her pacifier but she just spits it out. I’ve tried music no music. 
What tips or tricks do you have to make it less stressful? She literally screams until she’s close to vomiting (she starts coughing as if she’s going to throw up) 
It’s to the point I don’t even leave my house unless she’s sleeping and someone is home to stay with her but even then it’s stressful bc she’s EBF doesn’t take a bottle so I’m constantly worried is she going to wake up while I’m out ? 
Please help I have PPD and this situation is NOT helping

My daughter went through a phase like this and thankfully grew out of it after about a month. A couple things that sometimes worked were white noise or hanging a toy from the handle on the car seat where she could see it. We also took down the mirror we set up to see her because she seemed over stimulated. The thing that worked the most consistently was singing to her while I drove.
I’ve also heard people say that their babies cried in the car but that when they took the infant insert out, it made a big difference. It didn’t personally work for us but it’s worth a shot!

Our little one hated the car too. She is starting to do better in the car at 5 months. 
White noise helped our little one. We would just pull up a white noise video on Youtube on one of our phones and then put the phone in the backseat. Our little one also liked to look at herself in a mirror or play with a teething ring.

Things didn’t improve for us until I moved my baby to a convertible car seat. I still make sure not to be in the car if he is hungry or will need a nap in the next half hour. He won’t sleep in the car anymore so it just makes it terrible. For the tiny baby stage I think you just have to keep the drive as short as possible. I would recruit a grandma to go with me if possible. Good luck mama—I know it really wears on you and makes you feel trapped. It will get better!

I'm not sure if this would help, but it wouldn't hurt! This little mobile comes off the arm and you can Velcro it to the arm of the infant car seat. It's a really nice distraction on longer drives or when I know she'll be cranky without something to look at.

Ugh I recall those days!! My crummy advice is to let her cry while in the car. I remember trying so hard to keep my temper in check during the noise when you just wanna pop your top!! After a month or so, my little one who hated the car seat just stopped crying about it. Just stopped.
