TMI Did anyone lose chunks of mucus plug after having their cervix checked? I’m 38 weeks just had my cervix exam now losing gobs

Update: been losing gobs of mucus plug since Saturday morning it is now Monday early in the am still losing pieces but none with blood. I’ve been having contractions since Sunday evening. I will see what happens 😬 going to try to go back to sleep 😴
