These spots appeared when I was in bed last night and were very itchy. I showered about 20 minutes after their appearance and no more appeared even after I returned to bed. Are these from bed bugs? If not, what could they be? Photo is of my stomach, but the spots appeared on my side, back, chest, and upper legs as well.

Update: I’ve checked the sheets and mattress for any signs of bedbugs and have found nothing. No bugs nor spots from excretion.
