When reading a book, how long do you read per day?

I was doing a summer reading project and it was baseball themed so to get to each base you had to read a certain amount of hours and the last base was 9 hours so I read 2 hours going to bed then woke up and that day read 7 hours straight. Sadly I finished my book the night I read 2 hours so the next day I had to read a whole bunch of random books, I read 2 chapter books and like 7 Magic tree house books(Magic Tree House series are small books and I had no more chapter books, left so I was left with beginner reading books!!!)but that was the most I had read in a day. My brain was kind of dead after that!!!

If its a good book, i read it in every spare moment I get. I read fast, so for a regular sized novel, if i have a free evening and i have been reading at lunch and such ... I will finish it by the next day
