What does round ligament pain feel like?

I’m 16 weeks pregnant and for the past week I have had pressure in my lower abdomen and what feels like mild period cramps that goes around to the lower back. I called my doctor in the beginning of the week but they don’t seem to be going away. Sometimes it’s like a little jolt in my lower abdomen. Is this round ligament pain?

To me it feels like a burning sharp pain that last for a few seconds when I usually make a sudden move. It’s normally in your pelvis area.

FTM, so take this with a grain of salt:
I’m 15+2 and I’ve felt the exact same thing you’re describing during my last two runs, but it goes away shortly after.  I plan on messaging my doc on Monday to see what she says, but overall it doesn’t seem dangerous, just noticeable.  Though from what I’ve heard from others, it’s not really consistent with round ligament pain.
This morning when I woke up, I got up too quickly and had a sharp, sudden pain in my right pelvis/groin that resolved within 10 seconds.  I think that’s more consistent with round ligament pain.

From 16-17 weeks I had a lot of pain due to tummy growth. It could be the same with you.

From my experience, round ligament pain is only in the front kind of near the bottom of my bump. Really uncomfortable, though most times

It could be Braxton’s .. if your feeling it in your lower back also. Nothing to worry about. They can start as early as 16 weeks. 
Round ligament I think is only felt in the front🤷🏼‍♀️ .. I’m not a doctor though. Just speaking from experience.
