What kind of swaddle do you use?

Anyone try the arms up swaddles? My LO currently uses SwaddleMe swaddles, but I’m thinking she might like the arms up kind better.

We tried using regular swaddled with arms down and he would freak out. So we tried no swaddle but then he’d startle himself awake. Now we are using the “Love to Dream” arms up swaddle and he’s sleeping 7 hours at night!! So glad we gave it a shot!

Our most successful swaddle is with his hands on his chest. It requires folding the top of a blanket over and capturing his hands in the fold. The nurses showed us in the hospital and it’s been impossible to get him to accept anything else.

I use swaddle me for my son, but I just wrap it around his belly right under his armpits with his arms free

We have used the live to dream arms up swaddle since the day she was born, I knew from ultrasounds that liked her hands in front of her face and she sleeps really well like that still

We use Halo with one arm all the way out and one arm swaddled but bent in so his hand is bear his face for soothing. Lots of trial and error to see what he actually liked and what kept him asleep.

Swaddled arms down for legit 3 days, then swaddled arms out until 1.5 weeks and she hated it. Now we use a sleep sack and she loves it!!!

We used the swaddleme sleep pods for the first 6 weeks and transitioned to arms up swaddle blanket because she was fighting to get her hands up all night. We’re one week into the arms up and she loves it!
