First Trigger- Never Ovulated Before

Been TTC since coming off birth control in October and have failed clomid 50mg, letrozole 2.5mg, and letrozole 5mg. I haven’t had a single positive opk and have had to take provera or prometrium to induce every period. No ultrasound monitoring at all so I have no idea what’s going on in there. For the next round, I’ll be doing letrozole 5mg again, ultrasound on cd12, and (if all goes well) a trigger shot. Has anyone has success with a trigger despite never ovulating on meds before?
