Anyone else using Noom?

I’m trying to get the weight off finally and KEEP IT OFF. Is anyone else using or have used Noom? What’s your experience?

I did the one week trial and wasn’t all that impressed over the free version. The personal coach messages were really generic and automated. I looked into it further and people are frustrated. 
It’s a good concept, but isn’t well executed and hasn’t kept up with the sudden boom of customers. Their pricing is weird. If you sign up through iPhone, it’s nearly $50/month. But people say if you sign up through the website or through android, it’s anywhere between $20-40/month. That is irritating to me. 
The food entry database isn’t all that broad and it’s often incorrect. I’ve scanned bar codes of boxes and the calories per serving don’t match. My Fitness Pal has a more comprehensive database, but their platform is more cumbersome in my opinion. I’d like to combine the two apps. The ease of Noom and the accuracy of MFP. 
I’m still using the free version of Noom somewhat. I don’t enter every little thing I eat (in part because it’s a huge pain when entering homemade meals) but it helps me stay on track with the daily calorie goal than if I entered nothing. I also do daily weigh ins, which has kept me more on track too. 
There are pros and cons to it. Some really like it, but I just couldn’t justify the cost for the product.

I did the free trial. It really didn’t add in enough that would make it worth paying for it. I enjoyed the free version

Not personally, but my mom uses it and she LOVES it!! She has lost 20+ lbs and is incredibly happy with her results

I just used MyFitnessPal and a fit bit. Did high protein high fiber and low sugar low salt and mostly granola for bread carbs I’m down 94 pounds just walking and eating better.

I tried Noom and wasn’t a fan. It seems to work for everyone but it didn’t for me. :-/ I struggle with losing weight in general though, no matter what I do.
