Hello , My LO is how 14 months and I am still breastfeeding him , I’ve heard doctors and other people ask or say when am I going to stop. Should I stop?

Many health organizations recommend breastfeeding until age 2+ or as long as mom and baby want to. There’s no reason you have to stop. Breastfeeding continues to be beneficial no matter how old a child is.

You stop when you want to!  New guidelines say as long as is mutually desirable by both mom and baby.  People will have opinions, you just have to let it go and do what is right for your family!

Nope... not unless YOU want to. The WHO actually recommends going until 2 for its added health benefits. My son is 15 months and he still nursed in the morning until about a week ago 😊

You don’t have to stop. Breast milk is good for children that age. Just make sure they aren’t breastfeeding too much where it is replacing food.

If it works for you, then keep going! My daughter is 14 months also and we still breastfeed. At this point it’s dropped off to morning and night. I’m pretty sure she’s hardly getting anything quantity wise but it seems to be her time out when she needs to reduce stimulation.

I struggled with this decision too! World Heath Organization recommends minimum of one year to two years or as long as mom/baby would like. So there is no right or wrong answer here, just whatever is best for you two. 
We didn’t make it past 15 months because I was just so done. To each their own though! 💕

The world health organisation recommends breastfeeding for a MINIMUM of 2 years for your baby’s health and development. I’m breastfeeding my 15 month old and he is no where near ready to stop
