A Letter to Moms
A letter to Moms-
We look in the mirror and have mixed feelings about our new body. It has stripes and saggy skin but we are told to love it because it held our precious babies.
We don't sleep the same way anymore and are exhausted (even when they aren't newborns) but somehow we get it all done.
We feed and bathe our babies before we put food in our mouths or step foot in a shower.
We feel pain when they feel pain and happiness when they laugh.
We constantly have an inner battle whether we are good enough for our children.
We beat ourselves up over losing our patience once in a while.
We consistently ask ourselves if we made the right decisions giving them extra screen time or waffles for dinner.
We are thankful for every sacrifice our Mom's did for us and now realize why she was hard on us sometimes.
We get a few minutes of alone time but feel so guilty that we are away.
We have breakdowns that our spouses don't understand.
We get judged for our children having tantrums in the store or if they aren't speaking as early as other's their age.
We ask ourselves if we could have done something different to help their development.
We understand why life is so precious and enjoy every moment of it even though it may be hard sometimes.

You're doing a great job Mama. I know at times you may feel alone and feel like you're failing but I can guarantee you're enough for your babies.
- Love, Crystal. A fellow Mom doing her best. - 💚
