hotlines?

i know most of the hotline numbers, but i’m afraid to text or call. i’ve heard before that the cops can come and take you to like a hospital and i really don’t want that. 
i just need a place to vent to someone anon, without judgment. 
what do you think? have you called/texted them before? what happened? tia, i greatly appreciate it.

Unless you say you are going to harm yourself they dont usually send an emergency team. When you are connected with someone on the hotline, let them know right away that you just really need to vent , they are trained to listen and recognize what needs to be said/done.

The cops wont come unless they think you are actually going to hurt or kill yourself. The people who you talk to on the hotlines have had lots of training before they are allowed to answer any calls. A lot of the people who work on hotlines have also been to university and studied psychological type therapies so they can help people like you get better.
